Welcome to the Mountain Bike Training Collective

It felt fitting for our first blog post to be something of a welcome letter. If you’ve already dug through all the info on our website some of this may be a bit repetitive, but we felt it pertinent to put it out there again.


So, thanks for taking a read! The Mountain Bike Training Collective (MTBTC) was created out of a desire to help provide Mountain Bikers with easy, affordable access, to robust, in depth, and well thought out Functional Fitness programming that is biased to the Mountain Bike Athlete. In addition to offering amazing programming, our goal is to create an interactive, global community of people who mountain bike and understand the need, importance, and have the desire to spend time in the gym so that they can perform better on the bike, be more injury resilient, and create the functional capacities that will allow them to ride bikes deep into their lifetime.


When it comes down to it, we know for us, there are few things more exciting, and few things that make us happier than ripping around on our bikes. Even better than just riding is seeing your abilities and capacities at something continue to progress, or if you’re someone who has started to see capacity wane due to age or injury, re-gaining those abilities or keeping them from continuing to slide is incredibly rewarding. Unfortunately just riding your bike doesn’t accomplish that. With such a vast global community of mountain bikers, we thought, why not create something that helps address everything from injury prevention, to performance, to postural restoration all in one clean and easy to access app on your phone.

And so we created the MTBTC. After almost 15 years working in the Fitness industry, racing bikes at a high level, competing in CrossFit at the highest level, training and working with 1,000’s of individuals, some of which we’ve been fortunate enough to call our clients for over a decade, and owning a CrossFit gym since 2010, Dani and Jade have been able to establish a wealth of knowledge both on the bike and in the gym that they believe has allowed them to create an effective, exciting and engaging Functional Fitness program designed for those who mountain bike.
